Getting Here By Ferry
If you are travelling to the island by BC Ferries - we want to flag that you need to book your sailing as far ahead as you possibly can!
Reservations typically open about three months before the travel day, and summer weekends fill up fast. If you are driving on to the ferry, you MUST reserve your ferry. If you are walking on as a passenger, it is more flexible but you can also book your ticket ahead if you want to be super sure.
Tigh-Na-Mara Seaside Spa Resort & Conference Centre
The wedding location! It is recommended to book the Friday and Saturday nights. There are other hotels in the area of Tigh Na Mara with different cost.
Coast Parksville Hotel
Simple, comfortable, and right in the middle of everything. Clean rooms, friendly staff, complimentary coffee in the mornings, and a short drive to the venue.
Bayside Resort, Ascend Hotel Collection
Oceanfront with indoor and outdoor pools, a restaurant and cafe on site, and direct beach access. Pet friendly, too. A comfortable middle-of-the-road choice with a really good view.
The Beach Club Resort - Bellstar Hotels & Resorts
Right on the Parksville boardwalk with wide ocean views, spacious suites, and a spa.
Stay Connected
About two months before the wedding we will set up a WhatsApp group for all guests. It is the easiest way to sort out carpools from the ferry, share rides to and from the venue, and organize anything you want to do together while you are there. Beach walks, a round of mini golf, brunch the morning after, whatever we dream up!
